Collaborative Process for Energy Efficiency
Each facility has unique requirements, so we start by meeting with you at your facility to discuss your goals and objectives, and then assess the existing systems and the opportunity for energy savings. From there, we design energy efficiency solutions, discuss options with you, and provide you with a proposal.
After you approve the project, we collaborate with you on planning the work, including project timing to minimize facility disruption. We will install the new systems and provide ongoing reporting. Typically, these projects do not require upfront capital costs to be paid by the facility owner, because we are able to finance the projects on the basis of the energy savings.
Onsite Renewable Energy & Battery Storage Project Development & Financing
Renewable energy & battery storage projects can lower operating costs, decrease dependence on the grid, and reduce emissions. Some customers are interested in developing, owning, and operating these projects, and others are interested in obtaining the benefits without all the hassle. Working with Climate Efficiency Partners, the choice is yours.
We will meet with you to discuss your goals and objectives for the project. Once we understand where you want to go with the project, we have the resources and experience to assess your existing facility and systems, including grid interconnection, demand, load, and energy consumption, and design a solution, such as roof or ground mounted solar with battery storage. These projects can include “behind the meter” (i.e. power generated and used onsite) or grid-connected solutions (i.e. power generated on site and delivered to the electrical grid), as well as a combination of the two.
Some facility owners want to own, finance, operate, and maintain these systems themselves. Others would prefer to rent space to us for the project and receive regular reports on reducing energy consumption and emissions, while Climate Efficiency Partners takes responsibility for developing, permitting, financing, implementing, operating, and maintaining the project. We can accommodate either solution.
